Omg, I had to share this photo. 😂
It’s from years ago, back when I was running my matchmaking business in NYC, and it popped up in my camera roll this week.
I laughed out loud because… wow. I can’t believe how much life has changed since then.
Speaking of life moments, we celebrated Ira’s birthday last week, and it was one of those nights that just felt really full. We went to his favorite restaurant and it was a reminder that slowing down to celebrate the people you love really matters.
Another highlight from the week: spending time with Joanna Strober, the CEO of Midi, which by the way just became the first women’s healthcare company to reach unicorn status!!! In case you don’t know what that means (because I didn’t), unicorn status is when a startup company is valued at ONE BILLION DOLLARS. Yep, you read that right. Joanna is a total badass and she’s deeply committed to changing how women are cared for. We recorded a podcast episode together, so stay tuned. 👀

And now for a random update: I’ve officially been converted into a crew sock wearer. I know we’ve debated this a few times on social media, but I think I finally found the perfect height! I think all the Gen Z/Millenial girls are finally wearing off on me.
If you’re a crew sock hater, just give these a try! They make me feel cool on my #HotToTrotWalks. 😎
Anyway, those are my updates. As we head into a new week, I just want to remind you that you don’t need a big reset or a perfect plan to start. One good walk or one small thing that feels supportive is more than enough.
Xo, Tamsen
P.S. You may not know this, but I used to be a matchmaker (right around that time when that photo is from). I just released my first weekly solo episode of the podcast about the four dating mistakes I saw over and over again (and yes, I made them too). If dating or relationships are on your mind at all, it’s up now!
